MONO MONDAY - SOMETHING I SEE EVERY DAY

When I told Mr. HCB the subject for today’s MM challenge and then told him the shot I was going to take, his response was “What?  Surely you aren’t going to be on theme for the challenge?”  How very rude, but he is right, as many of you know!

I often take a shot and then look at the theme, but today, I did it the other way round and here is something I see every day - gathering dust - and not being used!  How silly is that - so this could almost be a shot for Silly Saturday on Monday!

However, now that I have pointed out this piece of equipment, known as a static mini pedal exerciser - that sits and looks at me - and I know my lovely Blip friend, LSquare, will be thrilled to see the pareidolia in this shot - I need to get my butt or rather my legs in gear and use it.  I could use it whilst I am sitting in my chair and really I have no excuse except sheer laziness, so as well as going out walking, which I am going to do very soon to post my weekly card to another Blip friend, Marionb, then I will try and use this dusty piece of equipment to try and get me fitter.  

We went out to Jack’s for coffee this morning because Mr. HCB decided he had done enough in the garden but will get back to it tomorrow, he says.  We met some friends and had a chat with them, then did some shopping, so when I get back from my walk, I have no excuse not to do a bit more exercise.  Hopefully it will help me to lose the last  2½ lbs to get to my target weight - so watch this space.

P.S.  Jack's has "gone up in the world" - they now have Milton Brown handwash and hand cream in the Ladies Loo!  I asked Mr. HCB if they had it in the Gents, and his response - typical of a man - "I didn't notice it!"
