Dying fern

This fern caught my eye with its colour and various shapes.

This is my first time in the local forest for some months. It seems to have received heavy use from visitors over the summer, with the added problem of discarded coffee cups and other bits of rubbish strewn about—such a shame I used to enjoy walking here.
