Falkirk Wheel

Our first visit here and to the Kelpies. 

I'm lucky to be writing this. How we avoided being rear-ended by a lorry that didn't realise we were at the end of a long line of stationary traffic on the M74 near Hamilton I really don't know. Had he not realised and swerved at the very last moment on to the slip road to the service area I think we would have all been wiped out. Still, we live to see another day.
