Restless Natives
In the morning I caught the first ferry over Loch Linnhe to Camusnagaul and cycled round to the foot of today’s Corbett. Suitably dispatched I returned to the ferry for 12:30. I met a friendly chap who had cycled from Creran in the morning on his collapsible Brompton. We crossed back to Fort William together.
Later I went for a two-wheeled explore, first up the Great Glen Way and then up Glen Nevis to the end of the tarmac. The ride back to Fort William was fast!
It was disappointing to see how pressured the Glen has become with increased vehicle tourism. The group of idiots at the Steall car park were a case in point.
For those that ever knew 1980s dodgy Scottish films, the blip might be familiar. Long live the Clown and the Wolfman.
