Marram grass.

The beaches between Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea has been planted with marram grass. This is an environment agency plan to stabilise the coast and create sand dunes to prevent coastal flooding. It is amazing how this grass roots and grows in sand and dunes appear quite quickly.. There are already emerging dunes along the Lincolnshire coast.
