...haar today and then to top it off a heavy rain shower and thunder & lightening storm just as the train pulled into Waverley...so a damp and noisy walk to the office.

...and all because of that thunder & lightening the trains were chaos tonight. Waverley was like a disaster zone when I arrived.

I was over an hour late home but that's not a patch on the time it took a colleague to get home...over four and a half hours late!

All because the lightening knocked out the overhead electric cables...the ironic thing is I don't travel on an electrified line...go figure!

The other thing that completely bugs me is the priority given to the Edinburgh - Glasgow line...if there is a space to get a train out they'll pop those trains out before earlier scheduled trains to other places...at least keep them running in order so a late 33 minutes past the hour goes before a late running 45 minutes past the hour. BAH!
