Something you see everyday

This is ‘boy’ or ‘petit garçon’. He sits on the shelf where the teapot sits. He used to live with my granny and then with my parents. He used to be dark green until I gave him a makeover. He’s probably c1930’s I’ve always loved his wee sad face. I managed to find out that he’s French. Thanks Joanna for the MM prompt.
