At Peace
The name of this area is Rauha, which is peace in English.
My cold is nearly non existent. My nose does get stuffy and I've had to blow my nose couple of times, but I'm so much better today. Thank goodness.
Today after work we went bowling (the whole group of us) and then after that we went out to eat. Then late doggy walk and now it's off to bed. Days go by very fast. It's been a nice change. And going back to my regular job seems now quite good. Amazing what a little change can do.
The vacation house we are in, is quite nice. One of the best really. Two bedrooms, open kitchen/living room, toilet, bathroom and a sauna. Two one gear bikes if anyone fancies taking a ride with one of those (no one from our household will not) and a log burner if we need more cabin feeling. Everything is clean and very Scandinavian modern design.
The first day with J went okay. It's always bit slow with a new person you are taking care of, but I hope tomorrow will be better. He clearly doesn't want to "bother" me, but that just makes me feel bored. So I hope we get to do more things tomorrow. Today we did the "medicine times", lunch, snack and bathroom. I hope that tomorrow we can do a little stroll around the beach. Today was very cold with a freezing wind, so sitting in a wheelchair in that weather, the outing can not be that long. Tomorrow there's no more sun, but the air is warmer with no chilly wind, so I hope it will be better suited for some "beach time".
Oh, btw, I won the bowling :-D Haven't really ever bowled much, and none for the last 3 years, so I did quite well in that perspective. And everyone else was with pretty much the same bowling experience, so no one was super good and outshining all the rest. It was quite fun. Even with loads of gutter balls.
