Raking day

This is the second time I raked the yard. The first was after the Hurricane Helene wind. I know that there will be a few more times.

The leaves are all dumped on our brush pile to create a cozy area for the birds to hang out. And maybe the bunnies.

It is warm and sunny. I got hot working! Maybe one day in November I will pull out my long pants and pack up my shorts but it won’t be anytime soon according to the weatherman. We might get some rain here this week. It has not rained a drop since September 27. We need it.
