Same but different

Sorry! It's been an uneventful day, so here's a variation on a theme. When we were in the cemetery yesterday, I was having problems with focusing and ended up deleting nearly all my photos. So this afternoon I went back with a different lens (same gloomy lighting conditions) to try doing them again. I took photos of much more showy chrysanthemums, but in the end I liked this one with its cheeky pops of orange.

I did preparation for our trip to Cuba -- getting close now! A pile of essentials is being gathered, and I ordered SIMs for our phones, to be picked up on arrival. I've also bought a load of extra memory cards for the cameras, to make sure I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket -- I doubt I'll ever have enough bandwidth to upload photos to the cloud. And loaded offline maps onto my phone.

In the evening we had a Zoom with my sisters -- N is now a grandmother, which she's very happy about! And as well as being a new dad, her son W has just started a plum new job doing his favourite thing -- big data -- and as it's a new department he gets to pick his own team too
