The view
Something I see everyday - although not always in this snowy guise so it could just as easily be something I don't see everyday.
Finally got around to paying my Blipfoto membership (with a token extra little bit to round up the number).
When I was a lad in the local parish church choir (and later a bellringer) I attended many wedding ceremonies. At this other end of life I seem to be attending far more funerals. When I think about it the first funeral I attended was my mother's a scant thirty five years ago. Today I travelled to Concho (about fifty miles) for the funeral Mass of the daughter of one of our choir members. I did not ever meet her but after listening to the eulogy (how does one sum up thirty-three years of life in a few minutes remembrance?) I felt that I had met Patrick's daughter and had learned something moving about the way she lived life and about how much she was loved.
