Something I see every day
I was a bit more motivated today so Ive done two loads of washing and a few other chores.
Went to the village for food shopping and to collect some parcels. Popped into the greengrocers for some tomatoes - he sells a variety of cherry tomatoes called cherita and they are lovely. Their days are numbered it seems as the shop owner told me the season for them is nearly at an end. As usual we had a long chat about Newcastle United. He used to be a season ticket holder but gave it up during " the Ashley years " and now he can't get a ticket. You need to be a season ticket holder or a paid member to get to see a game ( or pay an arm and a leg for hospitality ) Even if you are member it doesn't guarantee a ticket as you go into a ballot. Far more in the ballot then there are seats so a lot miss out. He knows I go to the match so we always have a discussion about how it went.
I had another chat on the way home as I met a lady I know. She was walking her old dog Mary. We had a nice catch up as we walked. Mary was having her last walk of the day in the daylight before the fireworks start up after dark. She's frightened of the noise. Poor Mary.
Ive stuck to plan today and only had 15 syns. Had some salmon for my evening meal with potatoes and vegetables. Very tasty.
The Mono Monday theme is ' Something you see every day.' Ive chosen my Fitbit as I look at it constantly throughout the day. Mainly to find out the time but also to check my steps. I often change the clock face according to the seasons or for different events. Last week I had a Halloween theme. This week its Autumn leaves. Looks much better in colour obviously. Thanks to jensphotos for hosting.
