Still Going Strong!

Our neighbours presented us with this in 2008 and we discovered it again as Dd cleaned out the bodega!

We received a lot of what’s app concerned messages to check if we were safe as the threat of flooding to Barcelona today seemed to have hit the international headlines, unknown to us.

We did get a civil protection siren through our mobile phones after the rain had started but the rain in our immediate area though torrential did not last more than three hours and did not amount to worse than we have had before. The airport was closed by flooding, however, and looked pretty washed out on the news videos we saw later.

Southern Spain continues in a bad way with difficult encounters for the King and Queen and the fear there are up to a thousand missing still.
