End of Term

So happy that it's the end of term!

Betsy finished at lunchtime, we went to get her a gumshield, then a trolley full of cat food, then went to pick Al up.

The Year 6's were having their leavers celebration. It was lovely to see them but a bit emotional! Can't believe it's a year since Betsy left. It made her moving on seem even more final.

We bought ice creams from the van that I usually click my teeth at for cynically parking outside a school. But, as Betsy pointed out, they are just trying to earn a living! So 99's all round.


The children are wiped out so all three of us flopped on the sofa to watch Beautiful Creatures. Betsy and I both enjoyed it but Al said there was 'too much romance' for him!
