Brace LaFayette

Pets relaxing while the human world braces for change. I’ve just finished reading an excellent biography of LaFayette. I see why they wrote him out of American history curriculum in America. He inconveniently draws too much attention to the fact that Washington and Jefferson were slave holders despite having very close friends who were abolitionists and challenged them in the ethical paradoxes of their economic and social practices.
I’m fairly certain that our current curriculum was written as an ideological counterpoint to the ‘godless soviet communist’ in the mid 20th century. Very ironic how this hagiographic approach laid the groundwork for the white supremacist following that is now aligned with the Russian interests.
