Nail Biting

Dropped into a local pub to check out the  Melbourne Cup scene.
Not nearly as much interest in it as there used to be and it can certainly no longer be called 'the race that stops a nation'.

There were a few women with the mandatory fascinators, but as you can see, it was a pretty blokey scene.

Nobody was jumping up and down, but the tension was palpable.
