After the Storm

A warm sunny morning, the ground still damp from last night's storm. Everything feeling refreshed, bright and cheerful again as I biked along the canal to work. Met with my old friend, Helen, and her family for lunch in the botanical garden. Great to see them all after a gap of about 6 years. Feeling weary by the time I biked home but managed to go to pilates before coming home to relax. Clouding over again this evening, I think it is due to rain again tomorrow.
