On the web

Just as I got up this morning I saw the male sparrowhawk on the fence, so dashed downstairs to get my camera with the telephoto lens.  I took a few shots through the dining room window and then dashed upstairs for my dressing gown before heading out into the garden.  It had already spooked a great tit, which managed to find cover in the clematis leaves, whilst it prowled around behind the shrubs, eventually coming out, spotting me and dashing off.  Extra added.
 
After breakfast I went to MK and got new batteries for two of my watches, which ran out at about the same time.  One is an everyday one and the other I keep for best.

This afternoon I’ve been trying to photograph a garden spider and although it appears to be completely still out there, it isn’t.  The web was wafting around in the breeze.  I wanted a side-on shot for a change, which I’ve rotated and flipped so it’s facing to the right.
