Not easy….

to sneak down an overgrown steep track, but had hoped the Whoopers would be here and it was worth the scratches and scrapes to see them bathing and preening. Took another in the extra that shows one of the youngsters has a white bill. Woodpeckers, Wrens and Wigeon all in the area too, all the ws! A golden morning of sun showed everything to advantage and gives much needed light at this time of year! We are lucky!
