a lifetime burning

Half baked

Today’s been a busy day preparing with the minutes of last meeting of the RPS group that I’m the secretary for, and sending out various related emails, reminders and queries. It’s time consuming but I’ll feel good about it once I’ve done it all. Rather like the feeling you get when you can stop banging your head against the wall :-))

While all that has been going on, the oven has been filling the house with the smell of the rich fruit cake that I’ve been making for the forthcoming festive period. This is a shot of the cake in the oven shortly before it was ready. I wanted to get it done before I went away.

Camera club tonight sees the judging of round 1 of the colour and mono print competitions. I’ve got skin in the game so will have my fingers crossed.
