I had planned to do walk with the local walking group today but felt slightly stiff and tired when I woke up this morning, despite having slept well, and called off.

Instead I spend time sorting out files and folders, tidying desk drawers and generally getting my working area better organised.  This includes throwing out printed notes from pre-Sabhal Mòr days - a big step for me but I do have printed copies.

I also sorted out the various piles of books beside my bed. This is my "immediate" reading pile.  I'm currently reading The Maiden for my Pitlochry Book Group and am thoroughly enjoying it. It is set in Edinburgh in the late 1600s and tells the story of a young woman who is tried for murder.  I am also reading Orbital by Samantha Harvey on my kindle for my Edunburgh-ish book group. It has been designated a "downstairs" reading book.

My Crafty Kit Needlefelting Advent calendar arrived today. I was very disciplined and put it away and instead made the little acorn chap which featured in last year's one. Some more may follow.
