Village store

Delightful visit to our friends D and L in Biggar and we went for lunch to the little village of Broughton. Needless to say the ladies paid a visit to the quaint little village shop and fresh vegetables were bought.
Lovely sunny day and I did enjoy driving through the different countryside with fields full of livestock .

Just glad I don’t have to encounter the Edinburgh city bypass too often as I often hear it mentioned on the travel reports- today the problem was a lorry broken down at the busy Hermiston Gate roundabout taking out a lane. Lots of people would have been late home !
