Ascent of Forget-Me-Not

A wet day.  J & I had agreed to abort any attempt to ride if the weather was below par so I had a restful, indoorsy day.  By mid afternoon things were trying their best to fine up but there was still a bit of drizzle in the air.  Took camera for a walk round garden..........l-o-t-s of forget-me-nots that I will be pulling up soon enough, but whilst they still offer splashes of blue I'm happy to keep them.  Whilst studying the exquisite structure of these favourites I chanced on this teeny, tiny wee bug wandering all over one of the flowers.......maybe a young shield bug?  He wasn't keen to face the camera though so a rear-end shot it must be.

US Presidential race is worryingly close to a result.......

And F told me tonight that dear Gerty will be put to sleep today.  She's had a wonderful life......such a cuddly dog who became a bit of a TV star but her health recently has declined.  A tough decision but absolutely the right one.   Bless you Gerty xx
