Monzie Castle
The wild flowers give a colourful foreground to the view of Monzie castle in the valley and occasionally from this view you can see that the castle plays host to Guide or Scout camps in the grounds. The building includes a small early 17th century L Plan tower and was extended in 1791 while it belonged to the Campbell family who had it until 1869. I am not sure who owns it now but the grounds are always well kept - at least seen from this distance!
By the way, the white 'mark' you can see to the left foreground is a white butterfly wanting to be in the picture.
