The plants and the dear cats in the garden.
All the Saints of Ireland.
The Feast was established by Pope Benedict XV.
Also St Leonard of Noblac. Patron Saint of prisoners.
I always remember there is much to learn if we are interested. I know of very few Irish saints, St Patrick and St. Bridget being the two I have learnt about.
I listened to Holy Mass from Sheffield online. Then a Rosary was followed online. Both were beautiful and time well spent.
I learnt about possible ways to get rid of aphids and small white flies from a Sempervivum. I try to be organic. So far, using a water spray and a small head paintbrush to remove the tiny insects seems the kindest option. I Googled it and about 3 drops of Neem oil in water can be gently brushed on the plant, to cleanse the leaves. I am uneasy about the way to be as harmless as possible, it might not always work, but it is how I aim to do my gardening and grow clean food. These plants were in the conservatory and some aphids moved from a Gardenia to a citrus plant and the Sempervivum. Paul noticed them before I did. Much cleaning resulted and plants were re located.
The rest of the afternoon I will listen to Windswept on Audible, then after that, it is time for the evening meal.
I am happy the fireworks were not too loud nor terrifying last evening.
Have a good evening blip friends and thank you for visiting my site today.
