Granny’s knitting

My Granny was a prolific knitter. I came across this hat which she knitted for my Mum when she was young.
I never had a bought jumper or cardigan. My Mum had a treadle sewing machine and other than school uniform and trousers everything was made at home. I can remember being thrilled to get a bought dress when I was 16!
