Autumn leaves, again

Being the first Tuesday of the month, it was Lunch Club and we had a new volunteer. I don’t think we have had so many folk in the kitchen before but we all rubbed along well. My contribution was a very large pot of mushroom soup and alongside the chicken soup J had made there was something to suit everyone. I had forgotten to take my phone with me (again) so there is no blip of the delicious blueberry, raspberry and coconut sponge with custard that followed. Less fattening is my shot of the golden beech leaves against the silvery background of the leafless hazel woodland that I snapped during Bertie’s afternoon walk.
