SUPPLY

Early morning call for supply work at a local school 5 mins away. I’d been there a few times before during the lockdown era. I also got tutoring work for a TAs son and she gave me the best welcome and hug.
I started in year 1, then to early years and in the afternoon I was covering year 2 and year 3. A busy varied but fun day with lovely welcoming staff. I was very happy that the headteacher came to visit just as all the class were working in silence. She seemed so impressed.
Then a tutor session with a new girl B; year 6 who is on the spectrum. I tutored her online when she lived in Dubai. It was strange to meet her in person.
Now chill….
