Cap Fréhel

On our way back up to St. Malo we explored some of the Brittany coastline. Amazingly, the fog and mist cleared for a couple of hours in the afternoon so I was able to get some decent photographs.
The coastline here is truly beautiful and dramatic with many rocky cliffs.
Today's blip is of Cap Fréhel viewed as you approach it from the South-West. You can clearly see two lighthouses on the peninsula. The first extra shows these. On the left is the Tour Vauban, built in the 17th century and the rather grand tower in the centre was built in1950 and is still in service.

The second extra is a view of an old watch tower which sits further towards the tip of the peninsula.
