Liverpool

Travel all went without a hitch, hotel is just across from the Albert Dock and the M&S Bank Arena where we went to see Bob Dylan. No phones allowed inside arena (although a few were sneaked in) and no posters outside advertising the gig.
Dylan was as we expected him to be, he’s long refused to play his best known songs but he did start the set with All Along The Watchtower and although the rest of it was tracks from Rough and Rowdy Ways, there were a couple of others we thought we recognised (later confirmed by checking the set list) The stage lighting was very muted which made an arena gig feel very intimate.

We went for food beforehand and wandered past several places before settling on Fat Hippo for burger and chips which were very tasty :-)
