"Another Place"

R and I went to explore Crosby Beach to view the Anthony Gormley statues. I was lucky not to lose my wellies in the mud  having foolishly gone out too far. I didn't see the sign advising folks to stay within 50m of the promenade to avoid the mud. 
"Another Place" is the name of the 100 statue Anthony Gormley art instalation.  We learned that, having previously been exhibited in Norway and Belgium, they were supposed to go to New York. After some controversy it was decided to keep them in Crosby. One of the arguments against keeping them was that tourists would get stuck in the mud,  oops.
