Coast to Coasters

I picked up me Ma in Bluebell(sadly a loan van) scooped up Beth and headed to Roker Beach on a rumour that my brother whilst on a short trip over from Dubai home was finishing the C2C cycle ride. Based on little more than a stray comment on fb a few weeks ago we arrived on the seafront as he and his son in law Alex breezed in.
Once every few years my mum and her 3 children find themselves in the same place, so after a welcome shower for the cyclists we headed off for a meal out having been joined by sister Kate. Such a happy evening for us all.

Mum was a bit challenged getting in and out of the camper but says she enjoyed it(the alternative was walking back), the rather robust (1960's) suspension was so effective she won't need a visit to the osteopath for months, saved her hundreds of pounds.
