The Mound

Heading up The Mound to pick S up after her class at The Pleasance. We tried Southpour for dinner but their kitchen had closed early. Ho hum, headed back to The Southern where, yep, their kitchen had closed early. So back down the road again and we nipped into The Abbey where happily there was plenty food on offer and, not surprisingly, it was busy.
Earlier, I dug out an old putter and tried it out on the golf course. Next time I’ll dig a different one out; I have a few.
And even earlier, I was up to check how the US election was going. Not well from my perspective but sadly I wasn’t all that surprised. How does it go? Be careful what you ask for.
