Dark Times

I couldn't believe this morning, that Trump will be the 47th President of the USA and I felt devastating. There are dark times ahead for the USA and the world. 
Oh how I wish, that I'm totally wrong with my fears.
He learnt his lesson well, admiring Hitler and "Mein Kampf":
Divide the people in "us" and "them".
"Them" are the enemies from within, those with another opinion.
One group is to blame for everything: Immigrants. All are illegale and criminals, not real human beings and plan their mass deportation.
Stir up a lot of unfounded fear, which makes people submissive.
Use the media for your propaganda (Vox, X), critical media should be switched off. 
Use the existing institutions to increase your power and then eliminate the controlling institutions. Rules and laws only apply to others. Create you own loyal military. Join forces with other major powers and try to play them off against each other.
Sounds like Project 2025 and like a repeat of the dark times in German history. 
Dark times. May I be totally wrong!
