Jordan’s retreat

I sang at a fundraiser for Jordan’s retreat raising money to give families the chance to be together at the end of life, set up by Jordan’s amazing parents after he passed away from cancer aged just 19.

I sang 2 half hour sets, a variety of songs from jazz and blues to disco and house, a bit of comedy and some Christmas songs.

Old chum Lewis Macleod who is hilarious joined me for fairytale of New York and did some incredible impersonations including Trump, Attenborough, Walden and Postman Pat!

I was so chuffed to meet Martin Freeman! He was just lovely, friendly, funny, generous with his time and money too buying lots of auction items. He said I was brilliant and funny, cabaret mixed with stand up. Nice.

Ionica hosted brilliantly ( girl in white) My friend Nicola ( sitting down) formatted the evening brilliantly.

The other lady is Rachel, Martin’s friend who is a tv writer and also lovely.
