Curious

Woke to the news of the American election and felt crushed, worrying times ahead. Thankfully I had a day of childcare with my grandson to distract and cheer me. He’s such a joy that it’s difficult to be downhearted with him. I thought he meant it when he said he wanted to go to the zoo - a little conservation nature reserve - and to be fair he has moved on from excitement about their animal bins and running from one to the other. But not far. This baby otter was more interested in him than he was in any animal. Still, he was good for my mood.
