Advent calendars

I'm in the process of making advent calendars for my five grandchildren. Most of the preparation is complete, there's now a lot of glueing ahead! These will also be their Christmas gift. My plan is to make a little felt purse with each of their names for #1 and each day will have a little happiness/kindness quote, the obligatory chocolate coin and an amount of money. The coins will vary but all add up to the same at the end as they add them to the purse. They all have so many gifts on Christmas Day that I'm hoping this will be something more exciting leading up to the big day. Fingers crossed they like it. 
I need to have them ready when I go down to mum's for her birthday week, where I will do the final assembly work; I'm hoping to string them together with little pegs.
Mum is settled back home and was quite bright on the phone. She is being well cared for.
