Thrice

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

Victor and I went to see Mary Doll this afternoon and she’s doing well post-surgery. She had managed to get her out of bed and walk with the physio. She was chatty and even told me to ‘shut it’ (although this was in response to me threatening to change her actual name on the board above her bed to ‘Mary Doll’). I said I’d count how many times she said that to me as a measure of her recovery!

She was told before the operation that all going well, she may get home on Saturday and she definitely sees that as a goal. I’ll be sending thoughts and prayers to the health care professionals on that ward if they keep her in any longer!
