I was going to go to the Tate St Ives this afternoon but I had to wait in at the cottage for a friend to arrive. By the time he got here it was too late to go. I was very disappointed and would certainly have blipped the building if I had actually got there. I took this banner in the morning whilst the sky was blue. Later in the day it rained heavily and got quite cool.

There is so much art here in St Ives. Apart from the Tate there are endless small galleries showing a wide variety of arts and talents. We're here because a friend rented one of these small galleries for himself and other artists to show some of their work. There are potters, a textile artist, painters and photographers. Eight people in total and I'm one of them. I have a few photographs on show in a small corner of the gallery. I don't feel like an artist in the same way as the others and I'm quite scared about what people might think about my pictures but it is an experience. We hadn't finished setting everything up the work by the end of the day so it will have to be finished off early in the morning ready to open at about 10.00am. It's a pity that the 'Art' challenge topic wasn't tomorrow then I could have blipped our finished exhibition.
