Llangennith Church

Beautiful basic church in the village centre where we were staying. A short pre car journey walk for Enzo before we off to see my mum half an hour away - better in the morning when her brain functions better - but still not well. We had stopped on the way down in the afternoon 4 days earlier. 

Despite Mrs M driving us home yesterday am exhausted still the following day.

Welfare Benefits
In part I am still recovering the arduous exercise of completing my social benefits renewal form, sent many months early following the new Labour government. As much as I enjoyed it, reading Alice Hattricks book Ill Feelings took at lot out of me cognitive and emotional wise, not helped by my usual desire to do "things well". Others in my pain reading group found it too challenging to read much of it at all - many finding it brought out painful emotions too.

Looking forward to more quiet time, but we booked another gig with another couple in Leeds tonight (7th) as I write this.
