whenever i'm by the sea i always have to go straight down to the water and splash some over my face... and so i was determined that beth should know what seawater feels like by unceremoniously dunking them in the sea. needless to say, she didn't find it at all interesting or amusing so we had to whisk her onto my shoulders to cheer her up.
