I am tidying the house in preparation for the arrival of Mrs I, who is being ambulanced home today.

Before she went in to hospital she had bought some Alstromeria and they have been a pleasant splash of colour in the house during her absence 

But now the petals are dropping and it's time to clear away and perhaps buy some more.

I was intrigued by the contrast in colour and texture between the old brown petals and the still red ones.

Another lazy blip but it is better than nothing....
