Walk to the Lochan

It was a lovely day here today and very mild (15/16 °c). I couldn't resist going for a short little walk along this track that has great views over to the Beauly Firth, Ben Wyvis and other mountains. It also leads to a pretty little Lochan surrounded by pine forest. I should have been staying at home really because I've got a horrible cold and it's sucking all my energy! But I'm glad I went, and it was nice to go with my husband for the first time in ages. He was supposed to be working today, but they had too many staff(!?) so he took a day of annual leave.
