Autumnal Jubilee Wood
For the last fourteen years I've been accustomed to visiting Jubilee Wood in the Autumn which has a magnificent stand of beech trees. The colours are usually glorious. Not so this year. Everything seems muted and sere. Green leaves have yet to turn colour. Colour is there but it hasn't inspired me as in the past.
Basil had a run but not anywhere near as far as in the past. He made up for it when we got to the Beacon Hill car park running away from Len and towards me in the café.
I had some hearty vegetable soup with GF bread, a GF lemon tart and a decaf latte.
The photos were more interesting when you zoomed in on details.
