Work in progress - Notan drawing

Woke up in the dark and when the sun rose it was not much brighter.. out early to drive to my drawing session. Today we used masking tape to keep our whites clean and created a snow scene.. I enjoyed this one too.. there is not enough time to complete the drawing in two hours so i will keep working on it to develop it further..
I made the sky rather dark so have to darken other bits as the result. Glad to say we don't have snow yet! 
Out to bookclub this evening.. 
Our youngest daughter is in Rome and has just delivered a half hour talk at a worldwide conference of Art Registrars.. all very nerve wracking for her but she did it and thinks she did well. Apparently a lot of people came up to her afterwards to congratulate her and to connect for future links ... well done her.. so proud of her. Now she can attend other interesting talks and relax a little in the warmth.. she is very excited to be there and for the talk to be over!
