Golden Oldies

Pudsey Ramblers Walk through Judy Woods.

Another dismal day, but Judy Woods was full of golden autumn colours. Especially on the floor as we crunched our way through the fallen leaves.
A delightful walk which everyone enjoyed.

Unfortunately not long after lunch M. suddenly got an excruciating pain in her knee. By this time we had done about 2/3rds of the walk. We managed to find a bench and one of our members stayed with her while I took another back to where we had parked the cars. He then drove back to pick them up. Fortunately she had come with someone so didn’t have to drive home.

The rest of us finished off in the pub for beer, shandy or tea and coffee.
Rang M when we got home. She was feeling a bit better but was going to see the doctor tomorrow. Providing she can get an appointment!
Hopefully she will be walking again with us soon.
