Bay of Firth (3468)

Off to town this morning to make a start on the first fix plumbing for a new kitchen. The kitchen is being moved and the plan had been to run the waste pipe under the floor. An initial look under the floorboards a couple of weeks ago made it look like it would be difficult but possible. This morning when I lifted more floor boards it became apparent that it would be impossible to run the waste pipe under the floor.
After much head scratching and a discussion with the builder, it was decided that the only sensible route for the waste will be out into the garage where it will be dug into the concrete floor and tracked to a drain in the driveway. I won't be doing any of the digging. I had thought that the job today would take all day and some of tomorrow, but after drilling through the wall and removing a radiator I headed home.
After lunch my beautiful wife and I took Sigyn for a wander in the sunshine.
Back home for an afternoon of paperwork, probably the best thing for my sciatica.
