A deer, black walnuts, a bug and a butterfly!
These are the things that crossed my path today and I didn't even leave the yard! Around noon, the deer was grazing under a ray of sun in the back yard. Further down my driveway, I caught the tiny bug resting on the tiniest little flower. Facing my driveway, directly across the street was a low hanging branch heavy with fruit of a black walnut tree. I took a close-up of the walnuts enclosed in a golfball size outer shell. What more could appear before the end of the day! This beautiful blue butterfly landed on the lawn and I had just enough room to include it, too.
It was a lovely sunny day and I enjoyed the yard and my daughter and my day. Tomorrow I will adventure to the grocery store looking for blips along the way.
