Back off, I was here first …

… said the Blackbird to the Starling. Happily they then came to an agreement, see extra. 
I read in a Scottish Ornithological email that some blackbirds migrate to the UK for the  winter, I hadn’t known this before and this may account for the extra numbers in the garden this week. I was also delighted to see the starling as I haven’t seen any for months.
This afternoon I went to see ‘The Cosmonaut’s Last Message’ by David Greig at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. It is a hugely complicated play, quite lengthy and brilliantly acted by the BA acting class of 2025.
