Spinnaker Tower

We’re in Hampshire staying with a friend in Waterlooville. Drove down after the morning rush, parked along the seafront in Southsea ate lunch and had a coffee at the 10th Hole cafe.

Embarked on a 8 mile round trip to Gunwharf in Portsmouth in the gloom with more of a breeze than of late.

Last time we were here was in February for a funeral. At that time extensive additional sea defences were being built. They’ve not finished yet. It didn’t spoil the walk as much as the gloom.

What to photo? This was the best I could muster. No point in going up the tower today.

Arrived at our friend’s at about 6.00pm and spent a convivial evening talking about all and sundry.
